Problem solving in Maths

Over the last few days we have been talking about problem solving in Maths and the procedures we need to follow, and why.

Today the children got stuck into some problems.

    I love the look on your faces as you are puzzling through the answers! It certainly looks like fun. Perhaps some of you will be part of our year 5 and year 6 mathex teams that go to the Auckland problem solving competition in years to come!
